Official Launch: LGR x Cubberly Richter 94 — New York’s 1994 Legacy Returns
New York, this one’s for you. The LGR CUBBERLY RICHTER 94 goalie mask has officially launched. Over three years in the making, this collaboration with master mask maker Ed Cubberly brings a legendary piece of New York goaltending history into the modern era.

The road to this launch meant years of back-and-forth: crafting and refining the mold, grill, foam padding and shell until every detail was exactly how Ed Cubberly wanted it.
For New York fans, Ed Cubberly and Mike Richter are forever connected to the magic of 1994. We asked Ed a simple question: could we bring his original Richter championship mold into the modern era?
Today, that vision becomes reality.
The LGR Cubberly Richter 94 retains the same fit and size Mike Richter wore during his unforgettable 1994 Stanley Cup run. The original fiberglass construction is now reinforced with Kevlar and carbon fiber, finished with a modernized take on the iconic Cubberly “C.”
From the shell’s unmistakable profile to the grill and foam padding, this project reflects more than three years of work with the man behind the original design.

New York, who remembers watching Richter lift the Cup in ’94?
"I love the shape of this mask. The chin is the perfect size. Not too long, not too short."
I received my Potvin version a couple weeks ago, and let me tell you, what a sweet mask! Great craftsmanship and such a cool 90’s look with the triangle vents! Next up, the Roy version!
The grill and straps have exceeded my expectations for quality! Thank you again. Can’t wait to try it out.
"Took it out for the first skate last weekend, and it felt amazing. Balanced, super comfortable, and the visibility is way better than I expected. I took a couple solid shots and didn’t feel a thing."
