Every adjustment has been made using advanced 3D CAD renderings for maximum precision and accuracy — and nothing proceeds without Ed’s final approval.
We are now preparing to send the printed mold to Ed for his final sign-off before kicking off a major production batch. In my opinion, this mask shape is absolute perfection — iconic, carrying the heart and spirit of New York’s goaltending legacy.
And what mask is it?
None other than MIKE RICHTER’S 1994 Stanley Cup–winning mask shape — nearly identical to the version Richter wore during his legendary ’94 Cup run. We’ve improved it slightly with modern 3D design to ensure perfectly aligned and straight holes, and we’ve brought it up to today’s elite standards with a high-tech blend of fiberglass, Kevlar, and carbon fiber reinforcement.
